Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) is presenting its new SmartCycle family brand of heat shrink sleeve label films. Starting with SmartCycle Plus, the premium sustainable grade is produced from up to 30% post-consumer recycled content (PCR) and boasts the highest shrink rate of any sustainable sleeve film, the company says.

SmartCycle Plus offers a virgin-grade performance from processing to printing, all while meeting or exceeding major brands environmental initiatives for sustainability.

The SmartCycle Pro line features a 30% PCR recyclable heat shrink sleeve label film that meets the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) standards for recyclability in the RIC 1 stream, ensuring both bottles and labels are recyclable together. This helps foster a truly circular economy where both bottle and sleeve can contribute to the highly valued PCR resin stream.

Additionally, SmartCycle shrink sleeve label films are recyclable in the RIC 1 stream and provide excellent shrink properties, along with enhanced printing capabilities, boosting brand presence on crowded retail shelves.

Jeff Cole, Director of marketing communications, states, “These products reflect our dedication to delivering high-performance, eco-friendly heat shrink sleeve label solutions that support recycling and reduces environmental impacts. ‘Investing In Better’ is more than just our company slogan, it is a sentiment to our commitment in offering truly sustainable solutions to our valued customers today and beyond.”
